Hi all, it’s been such a long time since I’ve been on here and so much has happened. However I come on here today with sad news about NinaGrace who some of you will remember.
Nina was diagnosed with lung cancer just over two years ago. She went through many treatments but was told in October 2018 that it was terminal and she wouldn’t see Christmas. Well she beat the odds and lived for over a year more! Her husband called her a tough old bird!
Sadly on the 8th October she died after being very ill for so long.
We had become good friends and I so admired her. She was a lovely woman, very stylish, caring and generous. She had been diagnosed with RRMS in her 30’s after many years of symptoms. She had SPMS but used this forum until about a year or so ago. She died just a few days before her 68th birthday.
Rest in Peace Nina.
I hope everyone is doing well on here and send you all my love.
Oh Pat I am so sorry to hear this, as you rightly say Nina was a lovely lady and will be sadly missed by her family and friends, many of whom are on this forum.
Another bright star in the sky, fly high Nina.
Hope you are doing ok Pat, really miss you on the forum.
Hi Pat i am so very, very sorry to hear about Nina she was such a lovely lady i talked to her often on here and i was going to ask a while ago if anyone knew how she was.I feared the worse when she hadn’t been on here for a while though.RIP Nina.x
Hi Pam, I’ll try to come back more often. I’ve had to give up some of the volunteer stuff I do as suffering very bad fatigue. I think you may know I took a consecrated vow, so basically I’m a nun now although still living in my own flat and caring for an autistic man. But I will be back on here more often. It’s so nice to see you all still here. Take care Pam and thanks
Pat I’m so sorry to hear about Nina. She was a lovely person who, along with you, helped me so much through my early years. It’s nice to hear how you’re doing.
Hi Pat, I felt sad to hear the news of Nina’s death , she was a very kind person and always gave such good advice , she will be sadly missed . How are you doing Pat ? I’ve really missed your messages . How is your new brother? I know that you are very busy and I hope that you are keeping well. Love Michelle and Frazer xx
Hi Michelle, thanks for lovely message. Yes Nina was very kind. I’m doing ok and so is my new brother! What a memory you have. He’s doing great actually. He’s very confident these days and looks so well. It’s really wonderful. Dickie the Cat is doing well too. It’s lovely to hear from you. Hope all is good for you and Frazer.
I’m so pleased to hear that you and your new brother and Dickie are well Pat, I remember you getting Dickie, you must have had him a few years now. Its lovely how you have been able to support your brother, seeing him grow in confidence and being happy must bring you joy. I always think helping others helps us to cope with our own difficulties. Ive been doing some volunteer work with Frazer on Saturday’s and some Tuesdays I go on a Jw.org cart . Sometimes I feel really tired but I’m amazed how much happier I feel afterwards. Take care of yourself Pat and your brother and little Dickie too, keep popping in to let us know how you are doing . Love Michelle and Frazer xx
This is very sad to read of Nina Grace. She’ll be missed by many, a kind individual, giving hope and inspiration to our Forum. It feels a little ‘meant to be’ that your volunteer work stemmed from you simply trying Biotin to find it a great success. So much so, you were able to find renewed energy and motivation via Biiotin. Then use it to help others. From your experience, I tried Biotin and found remarkable success in improving my abilities. Nothing actually stops the rot but my look on life returned to positively sunny. I’m sorry you’ve found it necessary to cut back on the Voluntary work but, selfishly, I’m pleased you’re able to pop in here more often. Remember Pat,to take care of YOU. Chrissie xx
