Ho hum

Hello.

Soon it’s off to a nursing home to sort out my pressure sores.

Any experiences?

Steve.

No experience Steve, just wanted to wish you well and say I really hope the sores get healed quickly and you are back in your home as soon as possible. x

Love and hugs from me too. Sorry no experience although my 97 year old father has had them. He’s confined to bed and his carers have to look after his skin very carefully with creams and padding. He’s also got a hospital bed with a fancy electric air mattress that moves every few minutes. At the moment his skin’s intact.

Hi Steve Wishing you a speedy recovery.

I had a severely disabled child who was bed bound for sixteen years and I always used a sheep skin rug underneath him, day and night. He did not suffer any bed sores so maybe worth a try.
