My husband has primary progressive MS , his right arm is pretty useless and he is now getting tremors in his left hand , which makes it really difficult to eat and drink without spilling and dropping his food. He uses large handled cutlery which helps to a degree.
Does anyone have this problem and solved it, I would be very grateful for any advice.
I’m sorry that you haven’t had a reply for so long. I don’t have the difficulty that your husband does but I do know of kitchen and dining equipment that may help.
Sure grip mug which closes if tipped over
Mug with large handle with anti spill and spout lids
High sided wall plate to aid one handed eating
Plate surround that can be fitted to ordinary plates
Fork and knife combination
I expect that you’ll be able to find these on the Internet.
