Hi Jan, dunno hun, if it is the tumour causing your bladder woes…could be…or MS.

What tablets are you on? I`m on betmiga, but it isnt 100% foolproof.

Hope your`s work for you.

Hi Jan, not good to hear! You poor thing it’s one thing after another.

Fingers firmly crossed that the tablets work.

Would it be worth setting alarm in night to go to the loo? Only worth it though if you can get back to sleep later.

Thinking of you and hope you have a nice weekend. A tad cooler here in London…but not much.

Lots of love,

Pat xx

So sorry to hear you have more problems Jan, I used to have the gushing problem but LDN stopped it! I know it’s the LDN because when I had septeceimia earlier this year I had to come off all my meds for a couple of weeks and I soon started gushing again.

Hope you will soon be back on track, thinking of you and sending virtual hugs,

Love,

Nina x

I used oxybutynin for several years, before my bladder and mobility were out of my control! Hope it helps you.

Hi Ninagrace7

I have not been on this forum for probably a couple of years, I kind of went off forums, felt really sorry for myself, but also madly busy trying to still complete tasks I used to do, I cannot even prepare a meal properly these days : (

I have been in uncontrollable floods of tears this morning, so embarrassing as my teenage Daughter saw me.

Anyway talking of LDN, Ive been on this for five years and good to hear you feel it works for you too

sometimes I feel health professionals humour me when I say I swear by it! I used to have this hanging low bladder feeling like you always wanted to go a bit, started LDN (lucky its funded) and the feeing went, Ive tried to come off it twice over the years but found ‘the feeling’ always came back so Im sure it helps me! X

Yes - LDN will help with bladder control and many other symptoms. Also, Biotin has proved to give MS’ers back their control - allowing you to sleep through the night without getting out of bed for the loo.

l joined the facebook group Biotin for Progressive MS - and l have been taking it since April 2015 - and for the last few months l have also been following the neuro - Dr Coimbra’s treatment for autoimmune diseases with high dose vitamin D.

Learnt so much on the Biotin group - and now another excellent one is Free lndeed - Vitamin D Protocol.

Dr Coimbra’s treatment with Vitd3 - has been very successful - and a book written by one of his patients who has been following his protocol for over 8yrs is = Multiple S clerosis and lots of Vitamin D by Ana Claudia Domene. [got mine on amazon] - but you can download it on Kindle.

l am feeling much better now sticking to my Vit D3/ Biotin/ B Complex./Magnesium/ Alpha Lipoic Acid/ Pro-biotics/ K2/Omega 3 - and l have to drink 2 1/2 litres of water daily. This prevents too much calcium in the kidneys. So a almost dairy free diet. Gluten free - but l do eat lots of fish/meat/eggs/veg and salad. And l do not take any prescription meds as l find the side-effects make me so much worse.

Lots of youtube video’s of Dr Coimbra.

Great that it helps you too! The other thing it helps with me is the tingling, itching, the crawling ants feeling and sore skin which although not the end of the world used to drive me absolutely nuts! Great that your LDN is funded, mine isn’t but my GP thinks it’s fantastic stuff and would fund me if his practice would allow it. Don’t worry about the disbelievers, if it helps you that’s all that matters

So sorry you’ve been in floods of tears, it’s horrible when we have these meltdowns, isn’t it? Try not to worry about your daughter seeing you, it doesn’t hurt our children to see we’re not super woman. I know it’s our instinct to protect out children but life is tough and little by little they have to learn that.

So pleased you’ve come back on the forum, I’m sure you remember that there are a great bunch of people on here who are always happy to help! I read an awful lot more than I reply to posts but everyone seems to do their own thing and that seems fine with everybody.

Take care of yourself,

Nina x

I don’t get alerts…you can alter your settingsbto get them but they drove me nuts so I stopped them! I just come on most days to see what’s going on.

Could you have a urine infection? That’s one of the first symptoms for me…I’m desperate to go but only do a spoonful.

Try crushed linseeds, lots of people swear by them to keep them regular and they are so good for you as well.

I know it’s easy for me to say but try not to think about what might be next. If you can try to live in the present moment and not worry about the future, it’s an enormous help. You could google MS and mindfulness, it really helped me to stop worrying about the future.

Take care,

Nina x
