Like a jigsaw, I see the cracks but it’s not broken, Speech impaired, words still spoken A cautious step a busy mind Mourning the man you left behind
Days spent tinkering in your workshop The dream, but this disease won’t stop Caged in by that two letter word A new way of life a life so absurd
But in the darkness light always shines through Three little hearts now so close to you Popsy now and Popsy then Live in the laughter like it won’t happen again
For all you’ve lost look at what you’ve gained In all the chaos peace maintained Your pockets may be lighter But our bond has never been tighter
Remember the climb not the fall Because Dad it is better to have lived and lost than never to have lived at all.
I wrote this with tears in my eyes as when she gave it me (the three little hearts are my grandchildren) they know that Popsy has a wobbly hand and a limp but they DON’T CARE at all.

Believe every word because although I’ve never met you I know how much you love being in your workshop.
Take lots of care

Hi Catwoman
Trust you’re well.
Thanks for your reply. It’s heart wrenching to me my daughter doesn’t see it she says it’s just words and it’s not real poetry like my wife’s.

Hi Minnie Mouse
Trust you’re well. Thanks for taking the time to reply.
This MS annoyance is quite new to me I went from normal (what is normal) to Hospital - Xray - ct scan - MRI - lumber puncture - you’'ve got MS in two weeks. Now bad tremor in right arm/hand double vision speech comes and goes and limp in right leg. This all started JULY last year.
Our grandchildren play a big part in our lives 2 boys at 5+ and 2+ and one granddaughter born February this year. The best way sum it up is I would stand in front of a train for them if that was needed.
Regards Carl
Hi El
Trust you’re well. This MS annoyance is still quite new to me I went from normal (what is normal?) to you’ve got MS in about two weeks July last year. Stopped driving sold my car and given up work for time being I was/am an Audiologist before that I was a specialised welder/fabricator.
I now have bad arm/hand tremor in the right and limp in the right, double vision comes and goes, speech comes and goes. I try to carry on as normal at home (we have a small farm we don’t farm at all we’re all vegan even the grand children).
Regards Carl
