I’m very proud to have been 1 of many on our street alone to have gone out a 8pm and clapped for the NHS, how many other’s did this, ? my husband stood at my side, we all need the NHS, let’s support them now, x x

We were out too, it was actually quite moving and very emotional , the NHS deserve all our support, they saved my life 18 years ago and I’m eternally grateful to them , I think there are plans to do it every Thursday while this nightmare lasts and I will be clapping and cheering them on weekly
Nice gesture to a deserving NHS…but I was amazed to see that couples & families were still standing too close to each other!

Wasn’t It encouraging, presumably those who took part must also be observing social distancing. Unfortunately of the 300 plus flats I can see from my front room only around 35/40 took part the other windows are facing a different direction and overlook primary industrial and railway sites.
Probably because as couples or families they live together and don’t spend time 2m apart
